Characteristics of drum line

The drum conveyors are easy to connect and filter, and can be combined with multiple drum lines and other transportation equipment or specialized machines to form a complex logistics transportation system, meeting various process needs. A stacking roller can be used to complete the stacking and transportation of materials. The drum conveyor has a simple structure, high reliability, and easy operation and maintenance.

The power drum line considers the tensile strength of the chain, and the length of a single line generally does not exceed 10 meters.

To ensure smooth transportation of goods, it is necessary to have at least three rollers in contact with the transported goods at any time. When necessary, soft bag packaging should be transported on pallets.

1. Selection of drum length:

Goods of different widths should be selected with rollers that are suitable for the width. Generally, "Transport+50mm" is used.

2. Selection of drum wall thickness and shaft diameter:

Allocate the weight of the transported goods evenly to the touched rollers, calculate the required load-bearing capacity of each roller, and then determine the wall thickness and shaft diameter of the rollers.

3. Roller material and surface treatment:

Based on the different transportation environments, determine the raw materials and surface treatment (carbon steel galvanized, stainless steel, blackened or coated) selected for the drum.

4. Method for selecting the drum device:

According to the specific requirements of the overall conveyor, select the installation method of the drum: tension spring press in type, internal tooth shaft type, fully flat tenon type, through shaft pin hole type, etc.

The width and taper of the conical drum of the bending machine depend on the size of the goods and the turning radius.
