How to solve the problem of belt deviation in workshop conveyor line


In the process of using the workshop belt assembly line, people will encounter many different types of fault problems, such as belt faults and motor faults. Belt faults are a common issue, including belt deviation, slippage, aging, and wear. If the abnormal belt is not dealt with and resolved in a timely manner, it will directly affect the normal operation of the workshop belt assembly line. When there is belt deviation in the middle of the workshop belt assembly line, the deviation can be adjusted by adjusting the position of the rollers. The installation holes on both sides of the roller are machined into long holes for adjustment during use. The specific method is to tilt one side of the belt, move one side of the roller group forward in the direction of the belt, or move the other side backward. If the belt deviates from the upward direction, the lower part of the idler should move to the left, and the upper part of the idler should move to the right.


If the workshop conveyor belt assembly line is short, a self-aligning roller set should be installed to avoid belt deviation. There are various forms of self-aligning rollers, such as intermediate shaft type, four-bar linkage type, and vertical roller type. Its principle is to use a stopper or roller to rotate in the horizontal direction to block or generate lateral thrust, so as to automatically center the belt and achieve the purpose of adjusting belt deviation. The self-aligning roller has a good regulating effect on short conveyors, but it is not suitable for long belt conveyors.


The reason why many workshop belt assembly lines experience belt deviation is due to abnormal belt tension. Therefore, adjusting the tension can solve the problem of belt deviation. When adjusting the tightness of the belt, it is necessary to ensure that the centerline of the workshop belt assembly line axis is horizontal. When using spiral tensioning or hydraulic cylinder tensioning, the two bearing seats of the tensioning drum should translate simultaneously to ensure that the drum axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the belt.
